Context
This printed bulletin was posted on the walls of Paris the day after Champaubert. Its opening line reads: "Grand Army. Action of 10 February. Paris, 11 February. Her Majesty the Empress-Queen and Regent has received news…". Bulletins were Napoleon’s propaganda machine. Bourrienne remarks drily on "the official falsehood" some of them contained. During the Six Days, though, the news really was good.
